What operating system? You may be able to search the Microsoft web site,
under your specific operating system, for "error messages" or "249" and
error. I recall find descriptions of numeric message codes available in the
past.

Dear sir,
I shall be obliged if you can help.Suddenly some of programms do not load

or stop half way saying that there is run time error 249. ActiveX cannot get
the document. Is there any way that it can be cure.
