I am trying to install beta 2 on a laptop, XP SP2, and I get error 1606 Could
not access network location \\server01\home$\mydocuments. I am attempting to
install only onone computer adn do not understand what to do woth this error.
I looked in my network connections and so not see server 01. This laptop is
running very slow and very busy adn I would like to use the beta 2 to view
running and startup programs with recommendations as to if they belong or
not. Can anyone help?

Hi Engel
The links that you sent appear to list what they apply to, and the anti
spyware beta 1 or 2 are not listed. Coupled with the huge warning about risk
of screwing up the operating system if I error in the process of modifying
the registry; I am intimidated enough not to try it. That is unless I found
one that specifically addresses installing the anti spyware.

Thanks for trying.

Hi Alan,

Have you tried this? Run CCleaner (free from Ccleaner -
http://www.ccleaner.com
Note, uncheck Yahoos toolbar during install.
Run both Application and Issues mode. Don`t forget to opt for the registry
backup option in Ccleaner.

I'd recommend re-downloading, and saving to a known location--like the
desktop.

After the download is complete, disable real-time protection by your
antivirus for long enough to do the installation.
I hope this post is helpful, let us know how it works ºut.
