Error 1168

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone had seen the error show up in
the DS log on a Win2k domain controller....

Event Type: Error
Event Source: NTDS Database
Event Category: Internal Processing
Event ID: 1168
Date: 7/22/2003
Time: 9:20:21 AM
User: N/A
Computer: POST
Description:
Error 8430(20ee) has occurred (Internal ID 20612ee).
Please contact Microsoft Product Support Services for
assistance.

....seems to have begun showing up after I applied
SP4...checked technet and found a couple of 1186 error
docs, but nothing with this particular description (8430
(20ee)....

Any ideas what might be going on?

Thanks.

Ive got the same problem. Seems that about 1 week after
applying Service pack 4, two of my Domain Controllers
started to list this error in bursts of 8 messages.
I followed technet solution, delete the .chk files, reboot
into ADRSM then check the integrity of the database but it
just keeps coming back.
I even demoted the domain controllers, brought them back
up and it was fine for about 2 weeks but yesterday the
same error message appeared.
Are you any further forward with a solution?
