Error 1056 in XP

Recently I had to reinstall XP Home on my Dell 5100.
I'm still trying to get things back to normal with this
system and one of the things I can't solve is an error
message that pops up after startup. It's a dialogue box
entitled: ("engine" Error loading driver 1056.) I find
nothing in Dell support or Microsoft xp regarding this
error message. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

It's amazing. I typed into google, Error loading driver 1056 and found
pages of entries on the subject.

Is google new or something? Not many people in here seems have heard of it.
