error: 0xC00D1197: Cannot play the file

When playing mpg files off of internet explorer windows
media player downloads the file to a temporary folder and
then forgets where it is when it comes time to play it.
 
right click on the link to the MPG and choose Save target As. Now save it
to another location on your hard drive.
