Error 0x800CCC7D, Cannot send mail, SSL-Secured Connections

I am receiving an error when trying to send outgoing email from Outlook 2003.
Error # 0x800CCC7D, The error says "Your outgoing (SMTP) server does not
support SSL-secured connections. If SSL-secured connections have worked in
the past contact your server admin or ISP.

However, I have Outlook set up on my other computer with the EXACT same
settings, and it works fine. AND, this is an IMAP account, so I can't change
the SSL option.

Your help is GREATLY appreciated.

I am having the same issue on our networks. My AlienWare laptop works
perfectly; howver, the installation on the DELL has become unstable. It works
at times and not at others. Additionally, just today Outlook will open two
sessions when I bring it up.

We control all of our mail servers and the problem is not with the servers,
port assitnments, or DNS lookups, this is a bug in Ootulook. The only
recourse I have at this moment is to uninstall the package and attempt a
reinstall; however, this was working fine until a few days ago.

Unfortuantely, I am not convinced that this will solve the issue since it
seems to be a dynamic bug.
