Error (0X800CCC78) Outlook 2003

I got my 140 msgs after 4 days, but this error has now popped up. My email
address is correct; there is a msg stuck in outbox.
Task: Mail.comcast.net - Sending reported error (0X800CCC78) "Unable to send
the message. Please verify the email in account properties. The server
responded: 530 authentification required."

The error message is telling you that in order to send a message, you must
authenticate to the SMTP server. Do you have SMTP authentication turn on in
your account setup?
