I've just installed Norton AV2004, but now can't download POP3 e-mail,
unless I uncheck "Scan incoming Email"! No problem sending mail or other.
Never had problems with NAV2002!
Anyone who had the same problem? And how solved it?
Please don't tell me I should bought another AV...

I have no (other) PC conflicts, work on windows2000 behind Zone Alarm.
A great thanks for a help!

I'm not an NAV user, but I've heard of others with the same problem. IIRC
NAV takes too long with the incoming mail, and it times out. Problem was
solved by un-checking "scan incoming mail."

Thank You Jack!
It really is the only solution for me, as I reinstalled 3times Norton and
problem persisted... Yesterday did nothing else, installing, uninstalling,
deleting keys and folders, defragging, checking virus on-line, reading pages
and pages of supposed help features... I'm done..
I really bought the wrong anti-virus... :-(
Symantec helping service has so many complains, should have seen them before
buying the product.. I think Norton's good old days are gone..

There were ever here? ;)

_Almost_ anything is better than NAV.. with obvious exceptions..
Make-A-Fee.. AVG.. etc.
