error (0x800CCC0F) connection to server interrupted

I get this message below every time the program does a send/receive, even
though the program works fine. I heard Norton SystemWorks
may have something to do with it. Any help?

"Task 'Comcast - Sending and Receiving' reported error (0x800CCC0F) : 'The
connection to the server was interrupted. If this problem continues,
contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP). The
server responded: ?????o?'"

I'm having almost exactly the same problem. Same error
message number "0x800CCCOF; The connection to the server
was interrupted. The server responded: +OK 224 bytes".
Only the last part is different. My mail WAS working just
fine up to yesterday (in spite of the error messages) but
now I haven't been receiving email for 24 hours. I think
the SEND is working because the messages go into the
outbox but Lord only knows if they're actually going to
the destination at this point.

My Cable connecting company says the problem has to be
with the MSN account.

BTW I do have Norton Antivirus on my computer -- not the
firewall package.

I hope someone will be able to help us with this!
