My company domain email was changed recently and now I can receive emails but
no outgoing mails are succeeding. I get an error message:
An unknown error has occurred... Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL):
No, Error Number: 0x800CCC0B

Please help

Hi,

Try disabling the anti-virus program installed in the computer. Check if the
email program sends email.
If not go to Tools-> Email accounts->View or change email
accounts->Change->Advanced->Server time-outs.
Increase the server time-outs to 5-7min.
And try to send/recv emails.

Hi

My anti virus programme's trial period is expired so couldn't do anything to
it. I have also changed the server time outs to 5 min which is the maximun
and I am still getting the same error message.

Hi,

If the anti-virus program has expired, its better that we un-install the
anti-virus program. Restart the computer and try sending a new test email to
yourself.

Try configuring your email account on a different computer with the same
account settings and check if they work. Also, verify the account settings
with other accounts for the Outgoing server and incoming server.

Uninstall it. Even if it's expired, you can do that and it may still be
interfering with Outlook.
