Erroe: "Setup did not find any hard disks installed on your computer"

I'm trying to reinstall Windows XP on my computer and after I run setup I
get the following message:

"Setup did not find any hard disks installed on your computer. Make sure
that...any disk-related hardware configuration is correct. This may involve
running a manufacture-supplied diagnostic or setup program".

ANy help ?

I have Dell Precision 370
