erasing hard drive

dell dimension 4400

i've done this before i just don't remeber how to wipe out the hard drive.
i have all the re-install discs.
please tell me how to do this!

I Think that you want to do a clean install of the os, Check here will guide

Hi MS,
You didn't troubleshoot other problems to jump to another, Erasing the HDD
will n't help you.
You clean install if you are in trouble, but Erasing before Delete and
Create Partitions not recomended to amend a problem on PCs.
Stick to one guide what you done and what you didn't or what you are able to
do and what you are not able to do.
Save your self the Panic and take your Computer to a local Technician to do
the Job for you.
