Equation Editor's MT Extra font

G

Guest

I have XP Pro.

When I clicked on an expression from in a document imported to Word from
Scientific Notebook, I got the following message: "Equation Editor's MT Extra
font is not available. Some characters will not display or print. Re-install
Equation Editor to properly install its fonts."

I have two questions.
(1) How do I uninstall Equation Editor and then re-install it?
(2) Aftr re-installing Equation Editor, how do I get the MT Extra font that
is currently unavailable?

Thanks for any assistance you can give me.

You didn't say whether or not you had Equation Editor (EE)
installed already. It's not installed by default. If you're going
to be using EE, you'll be able to find instructions on the
newsgroups on how to install it. If you're using only Scientific
Notebook and just need EE's MT Extra font, an easier way to get
it instead of un/re-installing EE is to download the MathType
fonts from our web site. Click the link in my signature, and when
the page loads you'll see a link on the right side of the page to
download the fonts. (There are 19 fonts in all, one of which is
MT Extra. It's a free download.)
