I was using Microsoft trial version and just upgraded, where is Equation
Editor?
the following presumes that you are talking about Word 2007:
Microsoft has introduced a new formula technology (it's now native in
Word). It's not perfect, but certainly worth exploring (especially the
method to type the equation in one go with its own syntax). You can find
it in the Ribbon under Insert | Symbols.
The "old" Equation Objects can still be used. Insert | Text | Object |
.... (hope this all matches, I'm using a non-English version at the moment).
