D Debra Dalgleish Aug 8, 2004 #3 You can use the Equation Editor to create the symbols -- choose Insert>Object, and choose Microsoft Equation Editor from the list. If it's not in the list, you can open the Control Panel, and use the Add/Remove Programs utility to install it from the CD.
