Hi
I don't have equations editor in my word programme. I do not have the cd to
reinstall it and I do not know where the initial source of installation is.
PLEASE HOW DO I GET EQUATION EDITOR .

If you don't have the CD, you're out of luck.

Rose, Jez is right. However, you can download the evaluation version of
MathType at the link in my sig. After the 30-day evaluation period, if you
choose to, you can buy it, but if you choose not to, it will remain active
indefinitely in "MathType Lite" mode. MathType Lite has all the
functionality of Equation Editor, plus a few other features (like extra
fonts, for one).

The Equation Editor is not installed by default. Unless you have the install
source on your HD, you cannot install the EE without the CD.

Suzanne is right, but that doesn't mean all hope is lost. You can
download and install the trial version of MathType. It will have all
features enabled for 30 days, but will remain usable indefinitely with
basically the same features as Equation Editor.
