Hi there,
I've already searched the net and contacted Epson support, but I didn't
get it working. Here my problem:
I was using my Epson Perfection 1250 Photo for about 2 years without
problemes under WinXP. Installed software is Epson Twain 5.54 (german).
From one to another day, Epson Twain stopped working, i just get
errormessages from my graphics software like "Error negotiating Scanner
capabilities with Twain driver" or "check if the Twain-folder in your
Windows tree is existing". What i also did already:
- checked the permissions on the twain_32-folder
- reinstalled epson twain and the USB-driver multiple times
Some strange things to note:
- the windows-included WIA-driver still works
- epson twain also WORKS under the administrator-account, but not under
my normal working account! I set admin-priviliges for my normal account,
so i'm sure it can read and write the twain-folder.
Any ideas?
