Epson Stylus Photo 950 Status Monitor

Since I installed SP2 (XP Home) the ink levels on my Epson Stylus Photo 950
Printing Preferences Status Monitor are greyed out. Epson say its a known
SP2 issue. Anyone know of a Patch or other solution that will cure the
problem.
 
Keep looking at the Epson website and I'm sure they will rewrite their
Status Monitor package eventually.
