My Epson Stylus Color 600 Printer Driver from Epson is incompatible with XP
Home. Epson says no new drivers available for XP Home. Tried using XP Home
supplied driver - nothing prints. Can anyone help with this or suggest any
other driver links etc. Thanks. Sam

Your printer is a little out of date.. perhaps you might want to treat
yourself to a new one that is faster and more ink efficient..

Thanks, I already installed that driver but the page turns out blank - not
printed. What could be wrong? I am using Notepad or MS Word 97.

Have you thought that it could be your printer that is not working?.. does
it appear in the computers config?.. do all of the ink cartridges have ink
in them?

Yes, the printer appears in the installed printers list. It IS working, the
lights are on & no warning lights are on. Installed new cartridges. The page
comes out as if being printed BUT no actual printing on it.

Self-test page turns out blank. Will check printer port settings in BIOS -
what exactly do I check? Epson.com website says "no drivers available for
Windows XP"

If the printers self test page is blank (turn off the printer,
disconnect it from the computer, then hold down the Load/Eject button
and power button, turn on the power and release both buttons) then
either the print heads are blocked or the printer is history. If the
print heads are blocked, you may be able to clean them (do a google
search for details) but if not buy a new printer as Epson heads are
expensive to replace.

The drivers for this printer are incorporated into XP.
