Epson shows communication error

Hi
I have win XP with amd athlon processor (tm) 2000+.My
printer (epson stylus 820 Photo ) shows a communication
error . I have checked all the connections and they are
working properly .Can someone help me in figuring out the
error - i mean what other areas can i look for
error .I don`t have any hardware other than printer ,
speakers & monitor.I have dragon ultra SY-400 motherboard.

i'm having the same problem with my epson C41, has anyone
got back to you, as it may help me aswell.
i'm going crazy with the printer

Have you tried changing out the cable?

Are you sure the USB ports are working correctly - if it's a new motherboard
did you install the chipset drivers package that came with the motherboard?

Hi Jude
I got my printer error fixed by uninstalling
every epson programme related to printing & re-installing
again.Good luck
