Epson R300

My Epson R300 won't install completely, and XP can't find
a driver on re-boot. Did an internet download of SP1,
rebooted OK. R300 stil won't install. rebooted OK.
Downloaded all other upgrades (45). Incomplete shutdown,
had to power off. Power on, another bad R300 install.
Same incomplete shutdown.

The XP site also did not have an R300 driver available,
and the Epson site did not list R300 as having an XP
driver.

Do a COMPLETE uninstall as per

http://www.coribright.com/windows/Article one.htm

Go to the Epson website at www.epson.com. On the main USA page, find the
search at the top and type in R300. Click on the second entry that appears.

Then when the R300 page appears, click on the words Technical Support on the
right hand side and up with pop the page with the XP drivers and Status
Monitor.

Download and install this software and do NOT connect the printer to the PC
until the software tells you to do so.
