Epson R1800 problems with Photoshop CS4

Since CS4 I've been unable to match colors using ICM with my Epson
R1800 & Windows XP. I've had to use Printer Manages Color in order to
get good color.

Anyone using color management in CS4 with an Epson R1800 working well?

Where could I find step by step to acomplish it?

Thanks,

Frank

Gotta love folks like you who are quick to flame others, yet when they post
for help, they can't even give folks the OS they use.

I presume you are using color managed printing with a calibrated monitor and
are experienced using PS and the Epson driver for PS controlled color manged
printing.
The settings for color managed printing are slightly different in CS4 than
in prior versions. I have an R1800 and see no difference in printing
otherwise compared to CS3.
Make sure you double check that you have the appropriate settings in PS as
well as your printer driver.

Thank you "measekite" <[email protected]> for your very informative
words.
I'm sure these are the best you are likely to get from you.
As usual you have provided no useful information.

I am having no problems with my CS4 and R1800 combo.

Make sure in the print dialog box that Photoshop and not the printer manages
the color. That should take care of it.

When the printer is managing, oftentimes there's a "double management" of
color - Compare "too many cooks...."
