Epson LX-1050+

Hi!

I'm trying to adjust the first printed line. The service manual, the
only manual I found at the Epson homepage, states, the LF or FF buttons
shall be pressed immediately after loading the paper. But, this doesn't
do anything while in Online mode, and just advances the paper while in
Offline mode.

Maybe someone of you out there has a user's manual for the Epson
LX-1050+ matrix printer, or any idea how to adjust the paper?

Hi Volker,

I used to use one these - if memory serves me right as soon as you feed the
paper in you press and hold either the FORM FEED or LINE FEED buttons
immediately after loading paper or when using the tear-off feature, to make
micro adjustments to the loading and tear-off positions. You have to do it
within 1 second I think.

Don't know if this helps much. You could try and get a user manual from Mike
at http://www.TheServiceManualShop.com if it's not listed on the site, ask
him if he can get it. I got an LQ300 one and was only £3.00

Once you have the paper where you need it, press the hand button again
briefly to store the adjustment
