Entering e-mail addresses into an Access table

I am trying to enter e-mail addresses into a table so that I can later create
a query and do a mail merge. Is this possible and if so how? Thanks so much

I don't understand your problem.
You would enter an email address into a table field just as you would
any other text into a Text datatype field:
(e-mail address removed)

That's what I did, however when I try to do the mail merge the e-mail address
shows up as a URL and I can't seem to send the message
