Entering dates via Vcal files not working properly

I have just booked our flights from Australia to the US. United allows you to
download the itinerary to Outlook using Vcal files.

You do each leg separately. However, while some legs worked fine, those that
spanned two days, such as LAX-MEL or SYD-JFK don't work properly.

I get the correct time for the start of the event. But when you look at the
entry on the second day, it shows as 00:00, even though in this instance the
time should be 09:40.

I hover the mouse over the event and it shows the correct end time. But that
doesn't work for the printed copy on the fridge...

How do I get that end time to display?

As an aside I was impressed with it being able to correctly enter the times for
the US legs of the trip and converting them back to AU EST time.

Eg: 14:00 on Thurs the 9th (NY) shows up as 04:00 Fri 10th (AU).

What version of Outlook? Are all updates installed?

Office 2007 (12.0.6514.5000) SP2 MSO (12.0.6529.5000)

As for the updates, I dunno. Will check to see, though.

Anyway, just discovered that all entries that have a start and end time only
display the start time. Need to figure out how to get it to display the end time
as well.

I wish that I could go back to Office 2003. It is a much better program for what
I need it to do, particularly when printing out calendars to hang on the fridge.

None of the assistants that people pointed out to me would work properly either.

Where don't the end times display? Right click on the calendar and choose
other settings, show end times - then if the calendar is wide enough, the
end times display.

Thanks. That fixed it.

I went through the normal settings, etc. but didn't find that particular option.

It's great that it's easy to ask someone such as yourself who knows their stuff.
