This is a VAIO laptop with key pad installed. Both enter
keys will not work. Full virus check shows clear, but
coincidently with this key problem the antivirus had
detected and dealt with WORM.NETSKY.B

If you have new.netdomains 6.10 installed try uninstalling it and see if the
problem goes away.

I don't believe in coincidences!
I suspect you still have a virus...(maybe one other than netsky even,,,)
The odds against *both* enter keys packing up at the same time are
astronomical!

Agree I would not think it@s hardware.
Carried out full check again (Pc-cillan-Trend), nothing
found.
Have not tried any solutions yet as I used computer for 7
hours yesterday without Enter Key problem, therefore
waiting now for re-occurrence. (Enter key had stopped
woking 3 times previously after 3 to 4 hours)

That seems to be exactly what other people with the same problem report.
