Enter a town and get the zip to enter in another field?

I have a form in Word 7, all is god except I can't find out how to enter, in
this case a diagnosis and in another field, have the associated code
automatically enter in a separte field (sorta like the forms that allow yo to
enter a city and the zip pops up) and, if possible, have this to
automatically enter at other fields requiring the same info in the same form?
Thank you if you can help and thank you if you can't but would if you could!

Hi Stuck,

For the diagnosis code to be inserted automatically, you'd need a two-dimensioned array (eg a two-column table) somewhere that
matches each diagnosis with a diagnosis code. Depending on the number of possibilities, creating and maintaining this could be a big
task in itself. Do you have this already set up? If so, in what form?

It's then a simple matter of looking up the diagnosis entry in the array and using that as the index to the diagnosis code. There
are various ways of having this information populate a document. The most appropriate depends on whether you're working with a
userform, content controls or formfields.
