word 2007 cannot enter text in a fiel

Hi I have a form created in word 2007 in which I need to enter text and check
some boxes. If I check the boxes (lower down in the form) first then I can no
longer enter text in the fields above. If I enter text first then it works
fine
Can anyone help?

Hi Chrischik,

Are you saying that after checking the checkboxes you can't manually select the fields, or just that you can't tab to them? If it's
the latter, you've probably inserted a Word 2007 Content Control somewhere: once you access one of these in a document protected for
forms, pressing the tab key will only take you to the next Contnet Control (if there is one), not to a formfield.

this issue.
