English and French speech recognition on the same vista box ?

Xavier

Hello,

I am currently running Vista Business (US version). I can't find a way to
configure this box so that I could use speech recognition in English and
French. All the info I found on the subject is somewhat ambiguous: English
and French are among the supported languages, but it is not clear if these
languages can be used on a single box, or if this means that each of these
localized versions of Vista will get speech recognition.

Any info or pointer would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Xavier

Actually, I was wrong. If you run Windows Update, you can choose the
optional language packs. If you choose french, you then can go into Control
Panel --> Ease of Access --> Speech Recognition Options --> Advanced Speech
Options

Then Select the Speech Recognition Engine you want. French or whatever
language you installed will be there.

Are you using Vista ULTIMATE -- language packs only available to ULTIMATE users
