Bit of a long shot this! Has anyone managed to successfully repackage
Endnote 7? Its used a lot in the academic community for references and
bibliographies, its a sod to install, be nice to do it via AD.

Hi!

Yes, I´ve packaged Endnote 7 to msi. I had trouble with a registry key.

I couldn´t solve that problem within the msi file, so I had to create a
scriptfile that deleted the registry values.
When packaging Endnote to msi, you get invalid GUID´s to the registry, so
they must be deleted. When deleted, Endnote recreates these the next time it
starts.

I contacted the support for Endnote, and they sent me the "bad" registry
keys.

It´s deployed in Active Directory to several users.

Well at least someone's managed to do it! All sounds a bit messy, about
time they updated Endnote its hardly changed since the days of win3.1!
