During the past week whenever I shutdown I get this pop-up end program hpcmpmgr.exe. It says that if I end task now Things won't be saved, how do I get rid of this pop-up, like I said it was never there before. Am I infected with something

Thanks for any help!!

This is part of your HP printer that starts when Windows starts.
According to HP, you can safely stop it from starting and your printer
will still work just fine. Instead of having the process running all
the time, a program will call it up when you go to print.
Go to Start|Run and type "msconfig" without the quotation marks. Click
on the Startup tab. De-select all instances beginning with "HP." Apply
and re-boot. Once you're back into XP, you'll see a warning that
startup has been changed. Check "Don't show this again . . ." and
you're on your way.
