encryption

Do computer techs have the ability to view files on your computer that have
been encrypted? I have a program called Crypt text that does the encryption.
thanks,

Non of the encryption softwares are secure! Sure there are lots of ways to
do that, it is just a matter of time. I am not sure which algorithm does
your software uses but most of the algorithms are based on the computer
tech. of 80's or 90's so are not powerfull enough for now. But instead of
using file encryptors, you may use softwares that encrypt the whole file
table structure. (Some unix like systems provide that)

But dont forget! Mathematically, Just Quantum Cryptography is secure! And it
is possible to decrypte ALL encrypted files!

Hi, Sinan.

You sound alarmist. Even with today's more powerful CPU's, it will take
centuries to thousands of years to decypher data with a brute force attack
on 128-bit asymmetric encryption.
And it is possible to decrypte ALL encrypted files!

Given enough time, yes. How long are you willing to wait for those
encryption jobs to finish? The universe is only ~14 billion years old, and
it would need to age quite a bit more than that to decrypt _all_ encrypted
files with brute force attacks.
