Does anyone know of a good freeware encryption program. Thanks in
advance for your help.

Cryptainer LE is a freeware utility from Cypherix. It is a 128-bit disk
encryption software that is a "miniature" version of Cryptainer PE and
Cryptainer. It creates encrypted containers (vaults) of upto 25 mb each
to store any type of data. You can encrypt files and folders by simply
dragging and dropping them into this vault. Additionally, it lets you
create secure e-mail files that you can send to anyone.

Cryptainer LE Encryption software works on all 32 bit versions of
Windows and on all media. The Best Part - this award winning encryption
package is totally free and never expires.

AxCrypt. It has fantastic shell integration. You can open encrypted files
instantly with the associated program. The generated temp files will be
wiped again after you're done only leaving the encrypted original on disk.
It can also encrypy to an exe you can send to people that do not have
AxCrypt installed. On top of this it also has a built in shredder and
renamer for added security. Unless you need to encrypt whole disks this
one rocks big time.

Triple that, it's a jewel but I prefer Eraser for a shredder with 35 pass
Gutman.

Scheiner will love you for that but if your passphrases suck, all the
encryption in the world won't help.
