Enabling 24 bit color for remote desktop

Trying to enable 24 bit color for remote connections, remote machine is
windows xp pro, client is RDC for Mac. When connected color is displayed at
15bit, and video card (radeon 9500 pro) is not recognized properly.

Any suggestions?
 
You might want to do a google search of this group:

microsoft.public.mac.rdc

I think your answer has been discussed there, but I don't recall the
outcome.
