Hi,

I have an Intel Pro 1000 MT Gigabit Ethernet Adapter intalled on my WinXP
Pro machine. I whould like to know what does "Enable PME" means which, is in
the Advance Properties list on my NIC Adapter. For what purpose do you enable
this property ? The Default value is "No Action".

Riyadh.

PME=Power Management Event.
You can set your PC to wake up at a specified time on receipt of a
signal from an attached device or from the local network. Enable Wake on
LAN or WakeUp by PME# of PCI to set these up.

And the link he posted now redirects to their main support page, lmao

You might want to disable it if you don't want to have your ethernet light on/blinking when the PC is off.
