Enable Offline Files

Ok..I am going nutz with this. I am on Vista trying to do offline
synchronisation with my Network files. I read the Help file for Vista to see
how to do it. It's wrong..the information is incorrect as it says go to
Control Panel and select 'Network and Internet' - there is no such item. I
see the Offline Files icon and click on that. I have to UNLOCK it and then
click apply. I then click on the Enable Offline files checkbox. It asks me if
I want to restart - I say Yes and then when i come back in and check again
the Enable Offline Files checkbox is unchecked... every single time I check
it and restart it reverts back to notr checked.

it's driving me nutz..any idea's anyone?

If you odn't have build 5384, perhaps its time to update. It works fine in
this version.

I'm having the same problem, but a bit different. I have XP/Vista as dual
boot in my laptop. After the Vista installation, my offline files in my XP
partition were unchecked and now I can't get the option "checked" again.
Every time I select the option in XP and restart, It goes back to "unchecked"
and I can't keep the offline files. In the Vista partition, however, they
work fine, but I need them in the XP partition. I NEED HELP!!!
