enable hyperthreading

Just swapped CPU from Celeron to P4 2.4C w/HT

W2K still shows only one processor.

Besides formatting and reinstalling W2K is there a way to
enable it?

Found it! System > uniprocessor driver > update driver >
multiprocessor > reboot > Bingo!!!

It might work. If that CPU isnt 800 fsb then it wont show as 2 CPU's
anywhere. If the CPU is 533 fsb you need a 3.0 ghz 533 CPU.

There would have been an option in the BIOS to enable HT. If its
an 800 fsb to enable it.
