How do you enable access CDROM and usb drives (i.e. pen
drive)to users on a 2000 network, on clients that are
2000 pro or xp. Is it possible to do, and if so how. Any
help would be greatful

Share them

i.e. right click over the drive and in properties select the share tab.
Then click the share this folder radio button and then type a suitable name
and finally click OK.

Then from other machines you can either do the cmd route (net use x:
\\computer\sharename) or right click "My Computer" and select map network
drive and then browse to the computer with shared folders.

Also make sure that all computers are in the same workgroup / domain and all
have the same usernames and passwords in user manager.

Hope this helps
