So your problem is with the case of the extension?
Case has *no* practical effect on standard Windows system or file
operations, it's entirely limited to a visual impact.
You would generally only find case sensitivity if you deliberately turned it
on for interoperability with a Unix system.
If that's not what the problem is, perhaps you can rephrase it.
But no, an .eml file is not a Word document.
