EML files problem

Good evening,

I have just formated my HD C and reinstalled everything on my machine.

On the D, I have, among other things, all my messages from work and
personal in EML format but Thunderbird 1.5 opens them in its message
board with a message : " Alert : D is not a recognized protocol".

This is quite useless and irritating.

Is there a way or a program to have Outlook open EML files instead
of Thunderbird doing it ?

Just wish I had the option to "open with" and "always use this program
for this file type".

Any help greatly appreciated

P.S :I have activated OE and IE.

Thank you both for taking the time to answer.
The problem was I could not assign OE to read the eml
files. It would refuse to do it.
So, I upgraded to IE6.1 and everything's ok.
Well done. Every problem has a solution <g>.
