Any ideas as to how I can extract a flash object from within powerpoint. I
have a file from a client that has a flash animation on a slide that we need
for video use, but since it is embedded I can't save it outside of
powerpoint. Is there a way that I can get the flash object out of powerpoint
so I can convert it to quicktime or wmv?

Thanks,

Todd

If it is embedded, save the ppt as a webpage. To do so, click File > Save as.
Under save type, select webpage. Then open the output folder and search for
the embedded flash.

No flash file appears in the folder. Would it be under a different file
extension? Or as part of another file format?

My mistake. Looking for a solution, but doesn't seem to be able to find an
easy one. See if others have any better solution.

I ended up doing a screen grab record using shareware and it seems to do the
job ok. Thanks for the help though.

Cheers!

What do you mean by this? Screen grab? Can you point me towards the
shareware that does this?
