Embed or include a pdf file in a Word document?

I have a business plan created in Word. I would like to include a pdf file
as an appendix and make it a part of the Word document for the simplicity of
having it all in one file, a Word file. Can this be done?

No. This is working the wrong way around. Convert your Word document to PDF
then use Acrobat's 'Add pages' function to append the Appendix, so you end
up with a single PDF. Which is, in any case, a much more professional format
in which to circulate a business plan. A lot of organisations really don't
like receiving Word documents from outsiders, and some set up their networks
to prevent it completely.

Hi Huberht,

You can't embed a pdf file in a Word document, because neither MS nor Adobe
have produced the required filters. Provided the pdf isn't protected,
though, you could copy & paste the relevant portion into your Word document
as text or as a graphic.

Cheers
