emails stuck in outbox but if I ...

I did a merge through a 3rd party CRM software (Maximizer.) The group I sent
an email to is now stuck in the outbox ... How do I make them go all at once?
All attempts to "send all" don't work. If I open each email and hit send
they go just fine ... ONE AT A TIME. I over a hundred emails and don't want
to send them one at at time, what might be causing this? A picture is worth
a thousand words, this video illustrates the problem and should answer any
questions you might have. No log-in or registration is required its public
domain.

Send immediately only works if you have Outlook open at the time in
which you compose and send the new email. Emails that are added
programmatically do NOT load a full instance of Outlook. Only enough
of Outlook gets loaded to handle the submission of new items. That
means when the program is done, the stub code for Outlook gets
unloaded - and that means nothing of Outlook remains to do the actual
sending of those new items. Items that were added programmatically
will have to be sent manually because Outlook, when you next load it,
does see that *it* created those new items. When you open those items
while within Outlook and click Send, you then trigger Outlook to send
it. The 3rd party program doesn't do that. There might be a way for
the 3rd party program to trigger Outlook to do the send (which means
that program would have to keep Outlook running after the 3rd party
program was done) but obviously the one that you used does not. Does
Maximizer run as a plug-in to Outlook or does it just use the MAPI
interface to submit items to whatever is the current default mail
client? A plug-in can keep Outlook open to perform a queue of tasks.

So what did http://www.maximizer.com/ say when you asked them about
how well (or poorly) their product operates with Outlook as the e-mail
client? They also have their own FAQs on common problems, like the
one at http://preview.tinyurl.com/youhr8. So do you have that option
set how they mention and that Outlook is configured to be online when
loaded? Their FAQ article makes it appear that their product should
get Outlook to do the sending; however, that article is 5 years old
and mentions Outlook XP (2002). You didn't mention WHICH version of
Outlook you are using, or for which version of Maximizer. I wasn't
going to spend much time doing your work of searching their FAQs.
Guess you'll have to ask them why their product doesn't work. Maybe
your [old] version of Maximizer doesn't work with whatever version of
Outlook that you are using. Some older versions of Outlook require
that you include CDO in the Office install (which used to be a
security risk).

If you want to send bulk mails, don't use a *personal* email client,
like Outlook. Use a bulk mailing program designed for that purpose.
Outlook is a lousy bulk mail client. That it can be made to do bulk
mail doesn't make it a good client for that task.
