emails not sending and sitting in outbox

My emails are not sending and sitting in the outbox. When I try to send them
from the outbox, they just go in Italics and still sit there not sending.

Have you changed your email settings lately or have you ever been able to
send email. Check with your ISP and make sure your setting are correct.

Hi Neil,

I havent changed any settings recently, Yes I could always send emails in
the past. I do know that I updated outlook when it asked me to and since then
I cant send emails, they just sit in the outbox, whether i reply, forward or
send a new one. I dont know how to remove the updates if thats whats causing
it because i dont know what they updated!

Outlook does ask you to update, so I am confused by your statement.

I used to always be able to send emails. then outlook asked me to update, so
i did. since this time i havent been able to send any emails. they just sit
in my outbox and wont send no matter how many times i click on send.

You missed my point. Outlook does not ask you to update. I don't know how
or what you updated but Outlook does not have any function to ask you to
update.

I am sorry but you stated in earlier posts that outlook DOES ask for updates
now your saying that it doesnt?

All I know is that Outlook was updated and now i cant send messages.
