Emails disappear if I forward or reply to them

The original email disappears when I send a forward or reply to it. (It
doesn't go to deleted file, it simply disappears)

I'm using Outlook 2000 and Windows XP. Last night I installed SP3 and the
problem persists.

I am not experiencing the problem when I use the default "Administrator"
user. However, the problem began and continues on my "other/regular" user
name.

I'm considering re-installing Outlook, but am hoping for other suggestions.
Thanks!

I doubt they are really being deleted. Most likely just sorted differently
because of some setting you have configured for your View (like Sort by
Icon, for example, since the Icon will change on a message whenever you
forward or reply).
Look at your View settings.

Thanks you were right. It was a view setting that had somehow been changed -
most likely from an update.

And as mentioned in another one of my many posts on this, I apologize for
the multiple posts. I was getting an error message when I submitted it and
was led to believe it wasn't showing up.
