Emailing Groups of People

S

Steve Hoagland

Why when emailing a group of more than 10 do I get a message saying Your
message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.

The following recipient(s) could not be reached:

'Keith' on 2/6/2009 4:00 PM
452 4.5.3 Too many recipients

This happens if I mail any more than 10. This is counterproductive when
trying to communicate with a group of business or civic contacts. Please
advise corrective matters I can take.

Try an Outlook newsgroup. The BCM add-in isn't involved in sending and
receiving emails.

It may well not be Outlook. Any SMTP server in the chain might object,
not realising that you are not a spammer.

Seriously, there are organisations which specialise in mass emailings,
where someone's email infrastructure and/or Internet upload bandwidth
isn't up to the job.
