Emailing Attachments

I have windows vista with windows mail, When I try to email with an
attachment from mircosoft office and the file I am trying to email is open I
get this error message.

"Some of the files could not be found and could not be attached to the
message. Would you like to send anyway?"

Please help.

Would closing the file before sending help ?

Save the file to your HDD before attempting to attach it to a Windows Mail
message.

I have the same damn problem, and on deadline. What can we do?

Do what PA Bear said to do.
When attaching a file to a Windows Mail email, the file should not
be open anywhere.
