I received a powerpoint presentation and made about 5 hours worth of changes,
when outlook asked if I wanted to send back the amended or the original I
accidently choose origianl. Have I lost all my changes???? Does Outlook save
amended adjustments somewhere on my workstation even though I didn't save it
anywhere. I would appreciate any assistance whatsoever.

Probably. It would have been saved in a temp folder at some stage somewhere
if you can locate it but now might no longer exist.
The lesson here is to Save the file locally first and to backup originals.
