very new to the computer world. I can't respond to craigslist adds. I just
got a new laptop (vista) and I have an aol email address. When I try to
respond the computer makes me set up email and asks what my server name is
and protocol and if I have POP3 or IMAP or HTTP. I have no idea what any of
this stuff is.

Add a new mail account in Windows Mail using these instructions:
http://postmaster.info.aol.com/imap/express.html

Those instructions were witten for Outlook Express but Windows Mail
uses the same settings.
