Cannot send emails via Craigslist

I've tried to reply to peoples ads on Craigslist and the messages seem to be
getting stuck in my windows mailbox. Here is the message:Header download for
the '[Gmail]' folder did not complete. Could not select '[Gmail]' on the IMAP
server. You might try refreshing your folder list to synchronize with the
IMAP server. Account: 'imap.gmail.com', Server: 'imap.gmail.com', Protocol:
IMAP, Server Response: 'Unknown Mailbox: [Gmail] (Failure)', Port: 993,
Secure(SSL): Yes, Error Number: 0x800CCCD2. It only seems to get stuck when
I reply to an anonymous email link.I posted an ad with my email address and
everything goes through fine.Any advice would be great.

In the left folder pane of Windows Mail right-click on the [Gmail] folder,
then select Synchronization Settings, Don't Synchronize.

If nothing else, the error message should have changed. What is the new
error message?

Ok Gary that seems to help, but I seem to have another issue. My mail is now
stuck in my Gmail sent box instead of going to my Gmail inbox.I also have a
Gmail account set up for the animal shelter I volunteer at so I tried
replying to a message I had with the shelter and it sent the message to my
sent box under a different Gmail account.I know this is confusing, is there
anything else that I may be doing wrong?

So you have two different Gmail accounts set up in your Windows Mail?
Be sure to inspect the properties of both accounts to make sure they are
correct (Tools, Accounts, select the account, Properties).

When you have more than one mail account, Windows Mail will reply
using the identity of the account which received that message.
You can override the automatic identity selection by clicking anywhere
on the From line while composing that reply.

I'm not sure what you mean by "stuck in the Gmail sent box".
Do you mean it is in the Sent Items folder for that account (which is normal),
or do you mean it is in the Outbox folder under local Folders?
